(I Got That) Boom Boom, has made its way in to the airwaves, 102.7 KIIS FM in LA has started playing it today. It has played 2 times today, made the top 9 at 9. It was #7, just thought I let you guys know :P |

Jive will prolly have to release it, they'll wait a bit though.. I've heard songs on the radio weeks before a video or an official announcment has been made.. no worries yet  | |

The song will tank at radio. The song is too empty. The only thing that might make it a slight hit, is the fact that hip-hop is the trend...although it IS fading and rock is upcoming trend...the Ying Yang Twins got old, and this song has nothing but a synthesized beat with lyrics of no substance. She'd have done better off releasing Toxic, Breathe On Me, or pretty much anything on the album since its an album full of radio hits waiting to happen. Boom Boom is the worst one they could have possibly picked, but of course, why not follow the trend to work yourself back into mainstream? I hope to God it was not HER who chose it to be the next single...she could do so much with this album because it's an awesome album, almost her best in my opinion, and then she's gonna pick the worst song on the record (in my opinion, of course) to release to radio.
I think the strategy here is to get her play on Urban stations. But Urban stations are just gonna laugh, like they did with the BOYS Remix. Britney is white, and no matter what she sings, she's always gonna be a white bubblegum pop singer. | |
