I think a lot of it is jealousy. If Britney marries a non celebrity, they have already formed an opinion. I admit, I have done this and I wasnt Kevin's biggest fan and I do admit to thinking the same. In the end of the day, when you marry someone, you give your life to them, what you have is theirs and what they have is yours so its all about sharing.

He is doing his own thing and maybe he wouldnt have done that without Britney, who cares. Everyone deserves a chance. Good luck to him I say.

I think that's a very arrogant way for Kevin to make money. In fact, it almost makes him seem like more of a free loader. "I'm Britney Spears' husband, pay me more than the average American makes in a year, and I'll show up at your party for half an hour."

It might be a little different once he's done something to make himself his own celebrity, rather than just simply being Britney Spears' husband.

It's that arrogance that makes me not like Kevin.

Arrogant? People want him at his event. Nothing wrong in it and he is just promoting himself with his upcoming album. Every star does it. its called an appearance fee. Nothing wrong in it. So whats Kevin to do, sit at home and just spend Britney's money rather than attempt to make money himself??

Work for his earnings maybe? Maybe I'm one of the few who actually believes in working for money. I don't even agree with how much money most celebrities make, much less making more than I make in a year in a single night just for showing up at a social event. There are better things that money could be spent on than Kevin Federline.

Once he has his album out, and if it turns out to be good, maybe then I can understand it. But right now, he is just Britney Spears' husband. That's worth $20,000.00/appearance? I'd like to see Kevin explain that one to a child living on the streets of his hometown of L.A.

If Kevin wants to make money for his family, then that's great. I just wish he would work for it. People say that Britney married a regular guy, but regular guys work for their earnings. They are the ones that mop the floor when you spill your coke, or the ones that sanitize the toilet seat before you use it. They are the ones that stock the shelves you buy things from. They are the ones that deliver your news, whether it be on a bike, operating the camera or adding a voice to the radio. These people don't just go to a party, have a few drinks and are suddenly able to afford a new home theater system.

As for the arrogance bit, this is just another layer on the cake. I've been noticing the arrogance for a while now.

I don't see any arrogance, but then again I'm not really looking. For the sake of the topic, you make a good point and I can do nothing else but agree, really.

It is easy money, it's cheating at the poker table if you ask me. I could say I'd want to work for my cash like I am now, however knowing how corrupt our economy system is, especially the people in the suits and ties with heavy paychecks and among their most popular activities, to wash away the blood from their hands so no-one sees all the shit that they do to get THEIR home theatre system paid for... They corrupt the poker game every freakin day and are too powerful to be stopped by anybody until they make a mistake on their own account, so then in my views cheating a game ruled by such people doesn't seem so bad anymore.

I can see your point but I guess I see the opposite. I see that he hasnt got his album out yet so he is doing his bit to make some money. I think that most celebrities will charge a fee to make an appearance at an event so to me its no big deal and I dont see it as arrogant, I guess he is just doing his thing and promoting himself and trying to not live in Britney's shadow.
