I don't think Christina's song came out in time. I figured she'd probably pick up some nods for next year's Grammy's. I guess we'll see.

Remember last year Slave never got nominated....that was because it was released after the eligibility date for last year's grammy's.

Songs she won't get nominated for but the remix producers will:

Remix of the Year (awarded to the producer of the remix):

Boys (Co-Ed Remix)


And I don't think she'll get nominated for anything, mabye remix of the year for boys but if it wins she won't get the award, The Neptunes do.

I'd be surprised if she gets a nod for female pop vocal, the competition is really tough this year so I don't see her making the cut.

no, because the ones that run the grammy awards have a certain period to do it, i think this year (grammy 2003) is the nominations for the material that was released between sept 2001 until sept 2002.

therefore, Christina released her album in october 29 (almost november) as you see the date is out of the period. that's why they day that beautiful isnt eligible

Eminem and Avril are guarunteed to be nominated for quite a few awards and they deserve it. Eminem's songs this year have been much better than his previous material, I actually liked them. I'd like to see Michelle Branch, Santana and Sheryl Crow nominated for a grammy and if possible all three should win. If Britney was nominated I doubt she'll win, although I'd love to see her get one.
