I really didn't. I think they really sucked...it was full of crappy performances and a lot of the performers lip synced.

vma 2000 and 2001 were way better than this year. mabye it's because they don't have britney performing...most probably

This evening I´m going to watch it (yeah, haven´t seen it yet), but I can´t wait to see it. I´m sure I will like it. I´ll post tomorrow what I thought about it.

I'm agree with you dave, this years VMA sucked!!! after eminem performed, i turn off the tv, i got bored, shame i didnt saw the booing thing...but it seems that everyear the suck more

the only good thing was pink, shakira and eminem

Shakira is always really good. I also liked her performances at TOTP. And she is always really good.

Well, I mostly like a big awardshow. I can´t imagine I don´t like it, but we´ll see tonight.

It was okay. I was really only excited about Avril Lavigne winning.

i was upset she won.....well atleast we know whoever wins best new artist awards are the death awards as the people who win them disappear after a while...in one year avril will be gone.

I thought they were all right, but the last three years were like ten times better. And whats with their climax being Justin Timberlake?!?! That performance had nothing going against Britney's Slave last year. Thank God they brought in GNR to bring the ending up a bit. But was it just me or were the performances not VMA standards this year? I mean, Shakira's was... meh, not bad, but nothing spectacular. Pink was too drunk to sing properly, Eminems was alright, Justin's sucked, Ashanti was horrid, GNR was pretty good, P Diddy... well, he danced, how good could that be? They needed Britney to liven the performances up.

And would they give up on that damn dog... It doesnt even compare to the original... ED THE SOCK.

The only big highlight was Britney and Michael, and Avril winning her award!

Britney makes such a difference if it wasn't for her coming out at the start i would have died from boredom nobody rocked the house like britney did in "00" and "01". shakira was good the shaking thing she did but the howling and screeching was terrible probably cos it was 2am. ashanti disappointing she wasn't even doing hard or rigourous dance moves she could have sung live. pink i'll pass on that one, eminem had an attitude problem from the start. and justin and p.diddy were cool nothing to write home about. that has to be the worst vma's to date and i'm speakig from "99" on wards britney kept me watching and i think she too disappeared
