Delta Continues Work On US Album; May Get Local Release In Japan


Overseas update! Delta is continuing to pen new songs while in her current base of New York, where she is working towards the release of her first US album. Word is that the US release, 'Born To Try', may possibly also be released in Japan at some stage.


Great news for fans - a new song from Delta is on the way! The singer/songwriter has been working on a few new songs since relocating to New York in late 2005 in support of the forthcoming release of her US debut, 'Born To Try' and new track 'Never Fades Away' has already confirmed for the album's release later this year.

The song will be the first new material from our #1 pop princess since she stormed the charts with her now five times Platinum second studio album, 'Mistaken Identity', back in November 2004.

Word is that the US album 'Born To Try' - a combination of Delta's first Australian album 'Innocent Eyes' and her second album 'Mistaken Identity' - may also be released locally in Japan following the release of the album Stateside.

In other news, Delta took time out recently to head to London and perform at a G'Day Australia gala event, celebrating the launch of the Australian initiative in the UK. From all reports, everyone was thrilled with the performance and Delta had a fabulous time, kicking her shoes off to get down with the poms on a beautiful black grand piano. Now that's representin'?!

i love it when this kinda thing happens. once my friend dared me to make a single cover for Britney's Don't Go Knocking On My Door and send it to a popular Brit site to see what they would do. They put it on front page as exclusive. It was hilarious it did not look real AT ALL. hahahaha

well it is impossible to please everyone all at the same time anyway... and you're right I would hope a whole new set of pics would occur for an album.
