Cameron Diaz reportedly threatened to miss the prestigious Cannes Film Festival unless her pop boyfriend Justin Timberlake was flown in to be at her side.
She wanted Justin at the prestigious film festival to attend a lavish party for her new movie Shrek 2 on Saturday night.
Movie bosses had no choice but to accede to her demands, according to the Daily Star.
"Cameron is an incredibly important focal point for Saturday night's Shrek bash," an insider told the newspaper.
"It's being hyped as one of the highlights of the fortnight and she is an integral part of its success.
"She made it clear that she wasn't prepared to travel to France without Justin and she insisted that he should get a good idea of the flavour of the Riviera Hollywood circuit."
The couple are now hidden away in a villa located in the hills above Cannes.
"They had to agree to Cameron's demands," a source said.
"And, after all, Justin Timberlake doesn't exactly lessen a star's cache." |
