Justin gets in line to bash Carson Daly
A fairly impressive group of comics, musicians and actors have signed up to poke (mostly) good-natured fun at the "TRL" host during the inaugural "MTV Bash," which is sort of Friar's Club roast, but without Freddie Roman. The special is scheduled to tape Saturday (June 28) and air Sunday, July 13.
Among those newly added to the Daly-bashing lineup are Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Justin Timberlake, Jamie Pressly, Jennifer Love Hewitt, members of Good Charlotte and Limp Bizkit and Verne "Mini Me" Troyer.
They join a list of roasters that will feature Madonna, Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, Andy ****, Britney Spears and Nelly.
Topics of ridicule are expected to include the inordinate amount of time Daly spends with teenagers on "TRL," his famous friends and his well-chronicled love life. Comic Jeffrey Ross, a veteran of several Friars' Club roasts, is one of the show's executive producers. |
