Britney was even more heartbroken than anyone knew. Here are the lengths she went to try to win Justin back.

Britney is back in the spotlight with a new album, In the Zone, and new material that preview audiences are describing as hot, and a slew of hot magazine covers. But, the 21-year-old pop star was missing former love Justin Timberlake even more than most close friends knew in the months after the couple's tumultuous breakup, in March 2002, Star has learned. During this period she stalked Justin by calling him night and day, forcing the 'NSync singer to put a block on his home phone. After that, Justin, 22, even resorted to calling Spears' parents to complain. "Justin didn't want to speak to her anymore," the source tells Star.

A meeting was called to clear the air. "She told him she missed him terribly," says the source. "He agreed he missed her, but only as a friend." Then Britney called Justin's video "Cry Me a River," in which he sings to a Britney look-a-like about how he feels betrayed, "desperate."

These tabloids really must have nothing else to report. Britney has constantly said that she doesn't want Justin and he was a mistake. Stupid tabloids. I'm glad they're apart, and I hope they stay that way. Justin's ego is far too big for Britney.

old news....Britney WANTED him back a couple of month after the break-up, it's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay over a year now and she's so over him...and yea, Britney said to Justin she didn't want him back cuz he SOLD her out on that stupid show...
