I don't think that's the case at all. For a little while there she wasn't as popular as she use to be but now I think she is catching up again. Haven't you guys noticed how many tv shows and specials she's been on lately? Not to mention the magazines! And now with her movie coming out, she's gonna be bigger than ever! It's gonna be a long time before Britney fades out!!!!

What? "Whoops Now" was from her album "Janet"? I thought that this song was older than that... And thanx to you for giving me the name of the singles from the album (I just found them on the booklet from her best of).

I was disapointed by the last Madonna's album "Music". She sells millions album with this one, but it's definatly not her "best album so far". The only very good tracks on the album were released as singles... but it stills good and I agree once again with you, she needs more original songs. It will works better.

Britney will not release a hip hop cd... I hope! I don't like REAL hip hop. But I imagine that she will not ask me what I want lol!
Her album will not flop she is sexier. But we don't her to be sexier.
Her "I'm A Slave 4 U" video is shocking! "Boys" is going to be a sexier video, I don't know what she will do for this one...

Well... I prefer not telling you my opinion on Madonna... I would be banned for excessive usage of three letter words.
She was greeat in the 80's then in the 90's, once fame achieved, she simply stopped being inventive and simply took the most fashionable producers to work with her... musically, it's pure bland pop/dance/ electronic.

NO WAY... Britney will never do pure rnb... nor rnb. She can have songs a bit influenced by rnb but that's all.
As for Salve being shocking... well, apart fro mthe licking scene I disapprove... the rest is a nice video I love a lot. Britney did a wonderful job. I prefer vids like Overprotected 'cos Britney is more "the nice cool rebel" than the "hot babe" like on Slave vid.
Once again, Wade robosn is the culprit for this too sexually orientated video... his ideas are not that good, he tries too much to have Britney appear as a "sex bomb". If yo usaw the making of Slave, Britney clearly repeats several times that SHe refuses to do the licking scene but finally, they managed to have her shoot a softened licking scene (a scene that is totally unnecessary).

are you serious? i really hope you're kidding. first of all, trl is shit. every britney video has retired off trl except for "slave" because "not a girl" premiered before it could be. and actually, "slave" made it into the 20s on the hot 100 (#26?). you shouldn't care that all the people around you are rolling their eyes at britney for her commercials or whatever. different people like different things and you shouldn't be worried by what they think. her movie will definitely not flop. her movie is out now...i'm not sure if we have exact numbers in yet but i heard it made more than 5 million last night. but that's besides the fact...even if it DID fail, as long as you, as a fan, can go to the movie and enjoy it like britney wants you to, then britney will be happy. i can almost guarantee that crossroads will outsell a walk to remember. last night i went to watch crossroads at 7:20 and it was playing on two screens simutaneously. i had to wait in line for half an hour and the theater probably held 300 people and it was more than 75% full. and that was only on one screen in one town.

to me, britney is not "fading" or any of this shit. people are sick of pop, that's true. but britney's not just pop. she changes, she evolves. and i think that's what makes her her. she's as popular as ever to me...a successful 3rd album, a new movie, commercials every 10 minutes on tv and she's got a lot more to accomplish and acheive.

I think she is popular, but the most people think she's that litle girl who wants to be sexy. But they can see her now as a grownup, when they see the movie they will see britney in an other way. She has to do less commercials or photoshoots cause in every magazine she's there. I know, that's OK for the fans. People see her to much, specialy in America. Her in Europe we haven't all those channels with all the britney commercials and brtney specials.

If u don't want to talk about Madonna, that's not bad... I can understand. Janet Jackson did like her.
She suprised me, with her video "Eroctica" her single which has the same name and the book "Sex". She tried to do things bad just for that the people watch her. But she has grown, she isn't the same anymore, she is a mother and she has a husband... she doesn't need anymore to make *hot* things.

Maybe you're right for Britney making r&b... I don't know. We have to wait. Anyways, I'll always buy her albums.

I agree with you about the licking scene in "I'm A Slave 4 U" vdieo, she says that she was shocked but if she was REALLY shocked she could ask the scene doesn't appear in the video... so I think she wanted to make a sexy video. She isn't anymore the kind girl.

Her way will be the same as Madonna's way... it's sad to say but true don't you think? Be realistic. She tries to shock even if she still a nice girl (sometimes). She's 20 now.
