yes she´s not doing good on TRL and single charts.. but her albums.. well she sells so many albums.. more than any other solo artist in the world.. she has already in such a short time like sold about 50 million albums!

and often the people that sell many singles is because people only wanna buy 1 or 2 songs from them.. but people skip buying Britney´s singles because they know thet WHOLE album is good so they just buy the album! No solo artist in the world is seeling as much as she is! She´s the queen!

Hm... it's true that Britney is selling well but let's face it, the terrorist attacks of 11/09/01 affected badly the whole American industry, including Music industry.
"Britney" sold extremely well for 1.5 months but now, it's selling far less.
IN my country (Belgium), she did not sell as well as her two previous cds... far less in fact!
BUT both Slave 4u and Overprotected are doing extremely well here. Thanks to Overprotected, her album is gaining some spots but still sells less than expected.

Anyway, it doesn't mean that she's not popular... surely not, she is still there and I also beleive that we can call her the new Queen of Pop... Madonna is certainly not the one for me.

Pop music sells less than before 'cos teens turn more to rnb shit (alas) and to all these fake, shitty rock bands (sum 41, Alien ant farm,.... etc, etc.)

+ PIRACY is developing and increasing !!! Yu can get a copy of "Britney" for 1$ as blank cds are around 50 cents a cd...

Crossroads hasn't just got bad reviews...i've heard numerous great reviews of it, and even better reviews of brit's acting.
and i dont agree with u that it has had little advertising, i think it's had loads of advertising, even over here in Europe and it's not out for another month or so over here.

about NAG(NYAW) sales, I don't know.........
Popular is about being famous... not about sales and stuff like this..! "Britney" album is not selling good as at the first weeks! it keep down, and down - but at its first weeks it sold a lot of copies... about the louzy single sales, I don't know what do you talking about..?? Overprotected is currently hold #4 in the UK chart.
wait! INAGNYAW single just started in the Billboard (even that I don't sees it in the top 50..!) ! ! !
and about the TRL countdown - LOL is ALL I could say! wow! the TRL chart - the pepole are voting non stop fro their songs with wrong deatils!
