Hey guys! From BritneyIcon over @ the Britney Forum on EFG - news on Britney opening this Sunday's 2004 American Music Awards, as well as an updated schedule of her upcoming appearances & specials. Performing completely LIVE and opening the show, can it get any better? Enjoy!

Just in case any of you didn't know, our Brit-Brit will not only be performing at next Sunday's American Music Awards, she will be opening the show! According to Columbus Short, Britney will be performing MATM completely live. Anything can happen, so don't hold your breaths, however it is for sure that it will be something big enough to open the show. I'm sure she'll either have Madonna join her (I hope not, it's all about Britney) or she'll have some outrageous set such as rain, fire, aeronautics, you know, the usual.

So remember:
11/10: TRL Performance(s)
11/13: Diane Sawyer Interview
11/13: Jimmy Kimmel (it's taped in LA so she'll be there to start rehearsing for the AMAs I bet)
11/15: MTV Special "In The Zone & Out All Night" (NOT to be confused with the ABC Concert, this one will show her club perf.)
11/16: AMA Performance
11/17: ABC Concert
11/17: Jay Leno
11/18: Album Release
11/21: Today Show Concert
11/24: Regis & Kelly

I don't care If she live or lipsync...
then I hope britney & madonna perform together in MATM..
BUT I never want Madonna to do something over actions..
I'm looking forward to seeing it!! as soon as possible!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see what she does! I actually was hoping she wasn't going to perform "Me Against The Music," because people have heard that already, she should give them something else to hear before the album comes out that tuesday.

Alot of stuff coming up, it's nice not to have to worry about setting VCRs since Britney's media people get stuff up like an hour after it airs
