| I bet if you dissected ANYONES life enough they could make a story like this. I know they could for mine. Does that mean I'm some horrible person ? NO. She's young, she's had fun. My God. They act like people weren't 100000000 times worse during the 60s and 70s.
I just don't find 'jokes' like these funny. |

Half the western civilisation humps eachother like bunny rabbits. More than half the western civilisation walks around in clothes Britney was looked down upon for just a couple of years back - including 10 year old kids. And too many of today's civilisation are violent drug (ab)users. |

| Okay, let's look at this objectively.
First of all, it's completely laughable that the author of this article is downsizing Britney for having sex before marriage, as sex before marriage is such a rare occurance in this day and age. How many people manage to last through a four month relationship and remain completely virginal? Nevermind four years.
And if society keeps on rolling the way it's rolling, the tricks that Britney's been pulling, and her lack of clothing will probably seem very conservative by comparison. Her kid will probably be exposed to many more things that are worse than Britney, and it won't have anything to do with the way the mother acted before the child was born.
All-in-all, it was a nice attempt at humour, but it didn't work out. It was more pathetic than anything. |

Nevermind four years. | I don't think its just the fact that she had sex before marraige because, as you said, that's not a rare occurance today. However, she put on the whole, 'oh i'm waiting till marraige!' thing and then when Justin let it slip that she was sort of not being truthful about that, I think that hurt her credibility. And I still stand by my opinion that she only said that when Jessica Simpson got so much praise for her rock-solid stand point on the issue. However...moving on. People will use anything they can against Britney and whether people think it's right or not...that little slip up of hers is enough for some people to totally rethink their opinion on her and look at her in a different way.
And just as a question in general to everyone...what exactly does it take to make a good "Britney joke"? Seriously, I don't get it...other celebs can be poked fun of with no mercy and it's hilarious but then people point out things about Britney in an attempt to joke around and it's all like, "*stern face* Not. Funny." Am I missing something here? |

At least not here? |
