Okay you know how I feel about posting RUMORS buuuuuut I've been reading this one a lot...so let's get everyone's take on it.

Britney and Kevin split?

It's long been rumoured that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have had a troubled marriage, but the latest reports that the couple have split haven’t been denied by the singer's publicist.

The relationship between the 'Toxic' singer and her husband has become so bad, reports the Daily Mirror, that she's expelled him from their California mansion, insisting he live in the basement.

Spears allegedly found Federline, who is attempting to launch a music career of his own, smoking dope in the house and drinking when she returned from New York earlier this week.

It’s not clear where their son Sean Preston, who was born in September last year, was at the time.

Spears, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, had been trying to save the marriage for the sake of their children, sources told the Mirror.

But, they added, she has lost patience.

"She wanted to wait but their relationship has become so hostile she just doesn't see how she can make it work," the source said.

When asked about the latest claims, a spokesperson for Spears refused to deny them.

Okay, if he was smoking weed and drinking in the house, then yes, I don't blame her for kicking him out. And this rumor does seem sorta true since they haven't been seen together in months. I personally think it may be the best thing for her as I have always thought she was better than him. But as they always say, we'll wait and see. Which really sounds bad.

This story is so standard, you could paste it on any relationship going on in the world right now and have at least 50% of it check out, heh.

I don't care either way. People break up all the time, it rarely happens that two people grow old together nowadays. Nothing lasts that long anymore. There will be people who are going to say SEE I TOLD YOU KEVIN WAS NO GOOD I SAID THEY WOULD BREAK UP etc, but then I can point at the person saying that and say hey, you in a relationship right now? I give you 5 years maximum and then your relationship is gone too. The chances of me being right about that are cutting edge realistic, so there you go.

I just find it sad that people can decide to get married, can decide to have children (these decisions are no piece of cake ya know) and then can't even continue to get along with eachother.

So for the sake of "let's see something NOT go bad for a change" I hope it's not true and they remain together.

A year ago, I would've been all for the demise of Britney and Kevin as a couple. But now that there are children involved, I'd like to see the relationship last for the sake of the children. Broken homes are never fun.

But at the same time, a separation would probably be a better choice if the couple aren't getting along. And the children should never be put in front of drugs and alcohol.

Well, they are the parents, so they are the ones to decide what's best for their children.

I dont really believe it. Sure Kevin hasnt been around but I believe that to be down to the recording of his album rather than anything else. I am not a fan of K-fed but I hope that Britney is happy. Thats the main thing.
