Hey guys! Just the other day, I was over @ FYE shopping and I picked up a copy of Innosense's CD, So Together as well as one of Brit's MATM singles from Australia. Anyways, as many of you know, Innosense is the girl group that Britney was part of for a short time, which she decided not to go with and became the solo superstar she is today. Also, 2 of the members from the group, Jenny Morris and Nikki DeLoach are both very close friends with Britney. I was looking through the 'Thank Yous' in the album sleeve and low & behold, Britney was mentioned. How AWESOME is that? Below is what they had to say about her, enjoy!

Justin Timberlake's mother - Lynn Harless, and Lou Pearlman scheduled Britney to be in 'Innosense' back in 1998, which was an all girl group. Britney decided the group was not a good idea because she'd rather work solo, and luckily she did turn down the group and go solo because the group didn't make it very far or big.

Britney has had many inspirations off the group 'Innosense' (e.x in 'Brave Girl' when Britney says, "she don't want no sleep, she don't want no high", she used a few of the group's lyrics used in one of thier songs).

Well, that girl, Jenny, is one of the memebers of 'Innosense' who is still friends with Britney today.

Yeah, I would definitely recommend it - it reminds me a lot of ...Baby One More Time & Oops!...I Did It Again combined, pop mixed w/ R&B, Hip Hop, and Dance. Biography

Following the footsteps of their popstar peers -- Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and *NSYNC -- the five divas in Innosense are ready to take on the dance-pop world of screaming teenagers, sell out tours, and manage through hardcore fashion shoots. The female quintet is another one of Lou Pearlman's gigs for his Orlando-based label, Trans Continental, releasing their RCA debut record, So Together, in August 2000.

Birds of a feather flock together, for the members of Innosense -- Nikki DeLoach, Danay Ferrer, Mandy Ashford, Veronica Finn, and Jenny Morris -- followed musical paths similar to their successors. DeLoach was a member of the Mickey Mouse Club, like *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez and pop chanteuse Christina Aguilera. Ferrer went to high school with *NSYNC's Joey Fatone, and Ashford performed in musicals with another *NSYNC member, Lance Bass. Timberlake's mother, Lynn Harless, starting managing the group in 1997.

So Together features song work from Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren (Celine Dion, Toni Braxton) and production from Guy Roche (Christina Aguilera) and Full Force (*NSYNC, Backstreet Boys). The girls describe their music as fun, upbeat, and a little retro, and claim their material is a reflection of their passion to dance and perform.
