Britney Spears has been censored. Tokyo subway officials have banned a poster of the pop star in which she appears naked and pregnant. The poster – a blown-up cover image of the August Harper's Bazaar - has been classified "overly stimulating" for young people.

Yesterday it was reported that the Tokyo subway had banned a poster of Britney Spears in which she appears naked and pregnant. However, Tokyo officials have backtracked and will now allow it to be displayed. A subway spokeperson said they realized that the intention of the ad was to portray a happy mother and not be sexually explicit.

I think it's laughable that the image was classified as "overly stimulating" for young people. I don't think many people get off on pregnant women.

Well for a lot of people, a pregnant woman can be attractive and a turn on. I dont think its right to have this on show in subways and such like.

I think it's funny and stupid that people wanna place an ad of her pregnant naked self in a Tokyo Subway. Speaking as one who has ridden the Tokyo subway MANY MANY times during the 3 years I'd lived in Japan, it's definitely not something that would belong there or fit in with any of the other advertisements. It's not a BAD picture, it's just an odd place for it.
