If you dislike something, you just dislike it. Now, if you said 'brokeback mountain' is overrated, THAT would be a prime example of the meaning. hehe |

Now should I look up the definition of a smartass for you? |

n. Slang
A smart aleck.
smart al·eck
n. Informal
A person regarded as obnoxiously self-assertive.
An impudent person
smart aleck:
An impudent or obnoxiously self-assertive individual, a wise guy, as in New teachers often have a hard time coping with the smart alecks in their classes. This expression, dating from the mid-1800s, probably alluded to a person of this description who was named Alec or Alexander, but his identity has been lost.
Hmm, none of what I said applied to any of those, actually. |

Congrats to Shakira, whose song after listening to 100000 times I still am not tired of. If I remember, this is Shakira's first US number one single? If that's true, congrats! The hip hop tune that everyone's jammin to is "Ridin'" and is rightfully at #2. It's just alright in my opinion. Nelly Furtado is scoring a huge comback with 'Promiscuous' at #3, which I believe was higher than "I'm Like A Bird" ever reached. Fort Minor's song drops to #6, that is a great song. Rihanna scores a double hitter with the infectious "SOS" dropping to #7 and the crap ballad "Unfaithful" rising to #9. And nobody can stop shaking to Sean Paul's "Temperature" at #10. I'm probably the only one but I think "Dani California" is onw of the worst songs the Red Hot Chili Peppers have ever done. 200 1 Dixie Chicks, Taking The Long Way
2 Soundtrack, High School Musical
3 Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stadium Arcadium
4 Rascal Flatts, Me And My Gang
5 Soundtrack, American Idol Season 5: Encores
6 Various Artists, NOW 21
7 Tool, 10,000 Days
8 Carrie Underwood, Some Hearts
9 James Blunt, Back To Bedlam
10 Shakira, Oral Fixation Vol. 2
11 Rihanna, A Girl Like Me
12 Angels And Airwaves, We Don't Need To Whisper
13 T.I., King
14 Gnarls Barkley, St. Elsewhere
15 Tim McGraw, Greatest Hits Vol 2: Reflected
16 Panic! At The Disco, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
17 Chamillionaire, The Sound Of Revenge
18 Nickelback, All The Right Reasons
19 Nick Lachey, What's Left Of Me
20 Toby Keith, White Trash With Money
Dixie Chicks... ROCK ON. 2nd week topping the chart with probably their most critically praised album in a long time. Screw the hicks that hate them. That ever so popular (and tween loved) DCOM High School Musical still hits it off at #2. Phenomenon? Maybe they'll put the next one in the theatres? Carrie Underwood is high again, probably due to late American Idol fever. Angels & Airwaves at #12.. god I hate them. They areb probably the most ego inflated, pretentious band ever. "Our music is amazing" "It's better than anything out there" "The lyrics are god". Give me a break! Their music is so ordinary! And the lyrics so pretentious! I want to smash their music in pieces. DVD Sales 1 NEW High School Musical: Encore Edition
2 NEW Cheaper By The Dozen 2
3 The Ringer
4 NEW Bloodrayne: Unrated Director's Cut
5 NEW WWE: Wrestlemania 22
6 Big Momma's House 2
7 When A Stranger Calls
8 NEW Transamerica
9 NEW The Boondock Saints: Unrated Special Edition
10 Nanny McPhee (Wide Screen)
The top of the chart is the biggest no-brainer of the year. At #2 comes the sequel to one of the worst movies ever. Transamerica is at #8, which looks worth a rent. |
