Seriously wth. Just make a large ol' Kelly thread.

Um Kanye's gonna be #1, yes. 800-850K. Now let's get a #1 single and he'll be a regular Mimi.

Kanye almost surpassed a million records. I myself heard the new album. And I really think it's amazing. Jon Brion did great. It's so awesome that Death Cab debuted at #4! They are such a good band. But now they are on a major label. So long indie legends. sigh... I hate when great indie bands go commercial. Regardless whether the music is still good or not, it just makes you feel special when you love an artist or band that not many have heard of. Apparently people got real tired of Pon de Replay and didn't buy Rihanna's album. Oh well. One hit wonder.

Daaaaaaaamn. This is the best damn chart I've seen in more than week. Huzzah!!! Mariah is toppled, and not by herself like predicted, but by Kanye West's very very very good and hot new song. I cant get it outta my head. I know it's all because of downloads or whatever. But it's just a sigh of relief. And WBT dropped 3 spots!!! Wow. Yayayayay. Finally. Now lets stop SIF from making it to Number One. Hey, I'm biased. And Missy's very good new jam Lose Control is smashing at #3. I gotta take back what I've said about Green Day before about them being very overrated. Let me rephrase. I think their new stuff is very overrated. I just saw a performance of them long time ago, There was no eye liner or anything, they actually looked like REAL people. And I actually remembered liking the song they played and I still do! I like the song "American idiot" but that's it for their new stuff. Everything else, meh. Gwen's Cool doesn't seem like it's gonna enjoy the giantness of Hollaback Girl. And Shakira's Spanish song is actually at #24!!!! Es muy caliente. *waves fan* God, I need her soo baddd....

DVD

1 Sin City
2 Beauty Shop
3 The Ring 2 (Unrated Widescreen Edition)
4 The O.C. - The Complete Second Season
5 The Ring 2 (Unrated Full Screen)
6 A Lot Like Love (Full Screen)
7 Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (Special Edition)
8 The Wedding Date (Widescreen)
9 The Simpsons: The Complete Sixth Season
10 Because of Winn-Dixie

Ha. One week after the bare-bones release of the Sin City DVD they announced the special collector's edition with 2 discs and a lot of goodies. And the director's cut. Poor people who didn't think they would double dip as much as possible. I guess people really didn't like The Ring 2. After the phenomenon of the first movie I would expect the DVD to be #1. I guess response sucked. And The Simpsons rocks #9. "Woo hoo!"

No need to run. It was officially proclaimed that Kelly fans who were embarassed to love Kelly can finally come out of the closet. Well not in that way.

Anyways, it certainly doesn't apply to you. *licks Kelly in your siggy*

Good thing Kanye held his place. He did not let that big ego of 50 Cent re-releasing his dumb album. Nothing else big in the Top 5. No surprise from one of the biggest bands of all time, The Rolling Stones.

Hurray for Kanye securing the top spot once again and it looks like he'll be there a while thereby oppressing Mariah from the top spot. Kudos. And Missy's Lose Control still hasn't lost control in being my Hip-Hop jam of the year.

DVD

1 Monster-in-Law
2 Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch
3 Sahara (Widescreen)
4 Sahara (Full Screen)
5 Sin City
6 Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior
7 Beauty Shop
8 Tommy Boy-Holy Schnike Edition
9 Blues Brother's 25th Anniversary Edition (Widescreen)
10 The Ring 2 (Unrated Widescreen Edition)

They played Monster In Law on My plane to Philly. I refused to watch or listen though knowing already how bad the movie must be. I have a small inkling to see Lilo and Stitch 2 because Lilo and Stitch really was the last good Disney movie without Pixar. Then I remembered all Disney sequels sucked so yeah. I was hoping the Lost release would make that rare TV on DVD exception and make it in the top 10 but alas, I'm wrong. Next week tests Desperate Housewives. I actually watched an episode of that and I realized my judgement of it was wrong. It really ain't that bad... but Lost is better.

20 Hilary Duff, Most Wanted

First off, I have no idea who Paul Wall is. Kanye is knocked down to #2 bu him though so he must be popular. Switchfoot debuts at #3. They're a good band I guess. I can't say all their singles were great but I loved Dare You To Move. The Pussycat Dolls debut at #5 which I guess is alright. Man. Damian Marley is so awesome. If you haven't heard the song "Welcome to Jamrock" yet, you've gotta. That song is what reggae is all about. Suck that Sean Paul and Rihanna!! And Mariah is at the bottom of the top 10.

20 Soul Survivor, Young Jeezy Featuring Akon

Kanye still rocks out on the top spot and looks like he'll be there just as long as Mariah was. Speaking of Mariah her song is still thwarted at #2. Not one of Mariah's good songs imo. Bow Wow looks like he has one of the biggest hits of his life. Now I have never even heard "My Humps" yet. Is there a video? The only BEP video I'm seeing is to that excruciating song "Don't Lie". We Belong Together is falling steadily and finally at #5. Uh oh. 50 Cent is back in the chart. *runs far far away* Green Day's at #8. Man that song's video is so horrible. It's so over-dramatic and corny and cheesy. The song's alright though. Much better than 'Holiday' and 'Boulevard'. Fall Out Boy's at #13. I don't know if I'm the only one but I cannot understand ONE WORD of what that singer is saying. I try to listen but it just sounds like gibberish. Can someone tell me if there are actual lyrics?

DVD

1 Crash (Widescreen)
2 Toy Story (10th Anniversary Edition)
3 Lost: The Complete First Season
4 Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch

5 Monster-in-Law
6 Crash (Full Screen)
7 Sahara (Widescreen)
8 Sahara (Full Screen)
9 Sin City
10 Charmed: The Complete Second Season

Wow. What a chart. First of all major major props to Crash. I couldn't think that movie could beat Toy Story, I mean it is Toy Story!, but it did! I really have been wanting to see that. Now I can rent it. I must not know how these charts work. I was expecting Lost last week and maybe not that high. It came on this week. AND WOW. AT #3!! THAT IS AMAZING. GO 'LOST'!!!!! I feel sorry for the UK people. They're releasing the DVD there so horribly. They're splitting it in half. Selling the first half of the season in one box then after they finish airing the second half on television, they sell that. It is such a rip off because one half of the season costs as much as the whole season in the US! That's horrible. Then another Disney sequel to a good movie comes out and further ruins the corporation. And it's good to see another TV on DVD set in the top 10, Charmed. I myself am not a fan of that show but still, it's just great to see.
