Some of you know, some of you don't, that we're currently running two boards. We just opened up
http://www.eternal-allegiance.net/ for testing by the members and soon, we'll be moving everything onto that board permantely.
What's exciting about this board is what we're planning to do with it. We're going to keep everything that this board currently offers, but in addition to that, we're going to have a special member section where members who have a site or journal or something of special interest can have their own forum section within our board which they can then link to with their site. It's going to be so fun. Jessy (RaInBoW_bRiTe) and I plan to open up a book forum and some people have expressed interest in a food forum. If you have your own forum, you'll be able to have a custom banner and colors and you'll moderate it yourself too.
Currently, we've opened up the test forum for people to go put test posts in, check out vb3 (we're currently on this board not using it) and see how they like it. Soon, Stinger or I will put up a poll concerning the layouts and which ones people would most like to stick around. The Viola one has already been transfered over (because if Stinger hadn't applied it to the new board, I'd have thrown a fit). There's a lot of advantages with this vb3 format, such as the ability to download your Private Messages (no more deleting to free up room!) and a Quick Style Chooser if you feel the need to change your forum layout choice.
Also, the database on the new board dates back to February. If you've changed your password since then, you'll need to log in with what your password was then. It still has your old signatures, avatars and profile information. When we're ready to do a complete transfer to this board, everything will be updated. However, if you want to log in and make a thread or a post, you'll either need your old password or you'll need to click on the "Forgot Password?" link on the "Invalid username/password" screen.
All the links to the forums bring you back to this forum. Currently, the Test Forum is the only one you can post in while we get bugs worked out and things up and running. Log in, take a look around and tell us what you think!
Enjoy!
