I used to have loads of penpals when I was young, around 100 I think at one point. Its so sad that noone writes letters anymore.

There's this saying in my country. What farmer does not know, farmer will not eat. Most parents don't understand the concept of internet communication, because they don't do it themselves. It's hard to put trust in something that you don't understand.

But the fact of the matter is though, that it is easier to screw someone in person, than it is over the internet. When someone says that internet is dangerous because you can't look at people, remind them that looks are deceiving... heh.

Its true, I remember years ago, I registered to write to Prisoners in America, my parents went wild thinking these prisoners were going to find me and kill me and put myself in danger..

Woah. i guess I got letters from convicted killers, rapists and such like, it was freaky. Glad I never replied to any of them.
