Eyebrow Hairspray

On occasion, I want curly hair. However, I want my curls to be soft and flexible. It seems that whenever I use hairspray (even the flexi hairspray) my curls get hard, ugly, and fall fast. (I want them to be kind of like the girl's from "Euro Trip", if that helps)

Does anyone have any tricks to keep my locks soft and lovely?

I'd say not to use hairspray in the first place if you want soft and touchable curls. There are a lot of good mousses out there that are specifically made for bringing out curls. I use Finesse Touchables Mousse: Curl Defining. And got2b kinky: Curling Mousse is really good too. If you HAVE to have hairspray, try one that has flexible hold.

Oh yeah...and pomade is really good for being able to mold your hair but keep it all like...softish....

Yeah, I agree with Becky...there are better products to use if you want it to be soft like that. Pantene has some pretty good products...I'd check that out. If you want it like, natural-looking, I'd opt for a mousse or pomade.

i do not use hairspray or gel....EVER. If your hair is naturally wavy or curly, i'd say go for pomade because it makes your hair super soft - but if not, go for mousse for the extra hold.

well, I tried what you people suggested. But it was no good, my curls fell in under an hour. I'm thinking flexi hairspray may be my best bet (even though that sucks too)

thanks anyway.

Do you have natural curls, or do you use a curling iron, or... ? I think that really matters on what kind of product you should use.

And i never found a good way, since my hair was so heavy, to use a product and not have the curls semi-hard, etc. I had to use a light hairspray, and spray my hair before i started to curl it. Then, as i held the curling iron in for however long i did it for, making sure it heated the hair all the way through, i sprayed it then, too. Then, afterwards i'd flip my hair and i'd spray it even more.

If i wanted the curls to last, i had to use some sorta stiffening spray. And in my experience, mousse, gel, and pomade and all that shit doesn't work with curling iron curls.
