Everytime David Beckham gets his barnet done - loads of blokes around the globe rush out to their barbers and ask for the same hair style.

However this time "Golden Balls" appears to have copied his new do on the old character Steptoe, a role acted out by Wilfred Brambell in the unforgettable BBC comedy.

The footie player even wore a cravat to finish off the look when he turned up with his other half Victoria for a Sports Industry Awards bash in London yesterday evening.

A source is quoted in the Mirror as saying of Beck's new hair: "It is very modish. David is happy with it, Victoria loves it."
