Yeah seems like everyone rips off everyone now days

i have the dooney and bourke "it" pink barrel bag, I love pink! I never understood why people associate material with rich thats so stupid. I'm a finance major and let me tell you thats bullshit! There are loans, charging things, leasing, financing, gifts, saving ect. Its not anything about rich. You can work at Burger King and dress in nothing but designer if you charge it---judging by the amount of debt the average house has...many do it!

Next time you see someone head to toe in designer wonder how much debt they have. next time you see a huge house wonder, how many lifetimes will it take to pay it off? Next time you see a nice car wonder how high of a loan they took out or how long their lease is on it....wonder if their childrens actually have any money left for college after this frivolous stuff...

you can buy ANYTHING nowdays if you want it...money or not. Look at people who live in trailors and drive Escalades...stupid? yes.

statistically only 15% of the US makes more then 70k a year...and look at all the nice things everyone in American has...hmmm I wonder how they got it? lmao

You make a good point Brit_brit. So many kids leave their parents houses nowadays thinking they are going to have the same sort of life of luxary that their parents lived. Um no. Unless your parents give you money all the time ,you have to WORK to get that 200,000 house your parents worked their whole life to get.

I would rather have nothing then be in debt to credit card companies, that is the truth. I abhore those things . My motto is : I either have the cash or the cash in the bank to buy it or I don't at all. Its so easy to overspend when you don't associate having a credit card with having to PAY for it. I know people who are about 100,000 in debt right now because they had to have the 'perfect' bags, and stuff, and they are declaring bankrupcy. Pretty.

Anyways, sorry I went off on a tangent but that subject sparked something close to home.

As for the bags, I don't really care for any of them too terribly much. I like the bottom one Suzie posted, but its still a little too expensive for me. But its cute.

Credit cards can be wonderful, but they can SUCK too. I have about 5 credit cards (probably more i'm forgetting about) and only one of them has a real balance. I owe $948 and i pay on it every month and it sucks. But, i needed a laptop that i definitely couldn't afford on the spot, and paying credit card bills builds credit, which in the long run will HELP you get that house. If you have bad credit, you won't be able to get a nice house and a decent mortgage payment.

I think it's okay to splurge on yourself once in a blue moon. Take me for example...I NEVER ever ever EVER buy things regular price. I'm pretty cheap. I never buy a handbag that's over 30 bucks. It's just the way I am. BUT...I did go out and buy myself a Coach bag because...well, I think I deserved, dammit!

But anyway...I personally don't like the XOXO bags. I think they're very cheaply made and not worth it. They just look cheesy to me when they try to imitate. Some of their styles are cute, but I would never buy one, and their "inspired" bags or whatever just look a little too cheesy for me. I'd rather get a better quality bag for that price. GUESS though, I think, is cute. I like some of their styles cuz they've managed to have some individuality.

Hmm. While we're on the subject of handbags... I'm thinking of selling some of mine. I just have TOO many and i can't even use them all. I should make some money off of them!

All the credit cards are in my boyfriend's name. I have a tendency to overspend, so we made the agreement a while ago that I wouldn't get any credit cards, just because I recognize that I'm that way, so its best to stop the problem before it happens . My best friends the same way, so she made the same agreement with her husband.

948 isn't bad to owe though. At least you aren't far in over your head. Kim I'll buy one of your bags. Its for a good cause right (?)
