"Your Original Doll" Not On Jive Records?! - Eternal Allegiance

Okay, here was another theory I had regarding the new single/album, but when I shared it with Lyndsay, she didn't think it was true, so I brushed it off as it being ridiculous. However, I was surfing the MuchMusic Boards, and on kid there said that Britney has switched record labels.

Do you think that is possible? I mean, everybody was speculating that the Greatest Hits would be her last Jive release, and maybe Britney has found a new place to call her home?! It's very possible that she could do it without us knowing, as she recorded half an album without us having a clue.

At the same time, we probably would've heard about her terminating her JIVE contract. So my guess is, if anything happened, she's changed record companies within the Sony BMG Entertainment Group.

I do want to stress the if, however. At this point, this is just speculation.

I definitely think it's possible. I was talking to Raul about it and I'm really skeptical that it's on Jive. Then again it might be, I have no idea but I thought the same thing Swany.

Actually I read something, it mgiht of been on WoB, after that it was said that the contract expired that Britney would continue with Jive/BMG/Zomba. And it was from an official source.

OK again, why do people keep calling it Your Original Doll?! She said "Original Doll". Was there any update or something??

Anyway...

I have a feeling this whole album is gonna be about how she's free now. She fired her manager a few months again, then kept talking about how she doesn't like her image and what people made her do AND now this Mona Lisa song... I think Mona=Britney

And I have no idea if it means shit.. but Mona lisa is registred in that radio website (that counts spins) as "Britney Spears - Mona Lisa" with no record company detailed... maybe it's just because it's not actually a song the radio has and just something Britney let us listen to while she was at the studio, maybe not.

I'm not sure if there was ever an update to "Original Doll(s)" but I like Your Original Doll better, that's why I'm saying that.

but she said it was her "new song" to me that says single!! Especially if it was on the radio...#1 on the countdown! It has to be the single.

Hmmm I wonder where these people get their info. I know you didn't say it was factual Swany but sheesh anyone could say that. I would love if all that is true though!
