According to the gossip columns, Britney Spears is ready to quit the pop world for her baby. SF Gate says Spears wants to personally take care of her child at all times and quotes her as saying "If that means the end of my career, so be it."

That's probably one of her last alternatives. If she does decide to quit, which I think the chances are EXTREMELY slim, I would respect and support her decision in every way.

I doubt it, Its all speculation, she will take time out but thats all.

I don't think she'd quit all together. People like madonna raise their kids and manage to have a carrer, she'll just have to take it slower than she usually does. Which might be good for her anyway.

Exactly, just because you have a child doesnt mean your career is over. Far from it.

I think all this article is saying is that Britney is preparing herself to quit her career if she feels she has to. I don't think she's saying that she will.
