What do you all think of this song? Alot of my friends think that she is a slut for having a song like this and that its wrong and its bad and all this stuff.

I personally think that someone should get it out there and im glad it was Britney. Although sometimes my friends dont agree, I think Britney did it tastefully. I kind of reminds me of "Your body is a wonderland" by John Mayer. He's not expressing that hes having sex and hes doing all this crap but thats what he is doing. And lyrically its a masterpiece. Thats what I feel like with TOMH. I think she did it in a way that shes not like "oh yeah im finguring myself" the lyrics are extremely well done and I think when she says "i'll teach myself to fly" we all know what she means, but for those who dont, atleast its well put. I think those lyrics make an artist.

I also think its positive for her to put a message like that out there. Like, that shes telling the younger crowd, even us, that it is okay to talk about it. And its okay to do and its not a sin. I think shes opening up peoples minds and telling them its okay to talk about and its not a bad thing, and I think that's good. Overall, I think it's extremely well done, and she shouldnt get flack for it.

Wow just when "Outrageous" was ending (I listened to ITZ), I entered this thread and... Touch Of My Hand came on

Anyway... you're right. It is a very good song and I understand what you're saying.
Probably if it was someone else singing the lyrics, it wouldn't get as much flack. Although I really don't think it got all the attention it was supposed to get if you know what I mean.

Not my favorite subject... but to be honest with you, there are so many songs on this topic out there, and the only reason why Britney is getting flac is because, well, she's Britney Spears - the media and all of the "soccer moms", as someone here put it, love to make a huge deal when Britney does something sexual. I don't see the big deal - it's not even shocking anymore.

Its not slutty. And i think thats what Britney is trying to say. Its a normal thing and its okay to talk about it. And yes, there are many other songs out there but I am saying lyrically its a masterpiece and I think its creatively done.
