The New York Daily News reports Britney Spears snuck into Show the other night at 1 a.m., handed her new CD to DJ Cassidy and asked him to play two songs so she could gauge the crowd's reaction. Satisfied with the results, she was whisked out a side door and jumped into a limo.

LMAO, it was written on EFG and someone there said that he was out of town or something and his friends from NY went to a party and Britney was there. His friends told him they were preety close to her but they said she didn't preview anything but he's not sure and he'll check.

Anyways it sounds cool if it was true, I hope it was.

I doubt she did preview anything. Considering she can't hand the DJ her CD if it wont actually be finished for another week.

It could simply be a rough copy. She wouldn't want a finished product if she wanted the reaction from the dancers because then it couldn't be changed as easily on the record.

But its just not finished, so they wouldn't have made a CD of it yet. Besides the record company would never risk letting Britney take copies of the CD all over the place. It could get stolen and leaked.

Well, okay, she finished recording the album in...May? I think that's what it was. So yeah, there is a chance she has a copy (not fully mixed) I mean, she had a CD when she previewed the 3 tracks on MTV, BUT I highly doubt she took it into a club and had a DJ preview 2 of the tracks.

ummm, most clubs only accept DJs that use vinyl turntables, therefore if this club was good enough for Britney to go to, she would not have been able to hand him a CD to play. Also, as Lee said, i dont think the record company would take that chance of it being copied.

Here's a possibility. Has anyone heard of DEMO TAPES? Or Singles? or the possibility of only having TWO TRACKS on ONE CD?!

From what I understand, they're in the process of working out the tracklisting, correct? Maybe she had trouble deciding which of two songs would go on the album, so she could get reactions, and decide which one went on the album?!

And, though most clubs do use vinyls, I'm sure most of them are equipped with CD players as well.

I dont know if I totally believe it, but I'm keeping an open mind.

No it wasn't.
It was reported that she still had two weeks of recording left and a week and a half ago.

Jive would never risk letting a CD out of the recording studio.
I'm 100% sure of that.
