I heard one of her new songs on the radio yesterday. I don't exactly rememeber the right words, but I'll do my best.

"I'm tired of being compared to Britney Spears.
Britney is pretty, but I'm not like that."

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Is that bashing lyrics? Tell me what you guys think.

maybe she just means she's not anything like brit.....not a little religios southern blonde girl with a cute little bf, etc. Pink likes to act hard.

Make sense now? You see she wants to be someone else but not Britney because Britney is very pretty and that ain't her. So stop thinkin its bashin cuz it aint!

i don't see why do you think she's dissing brit. i'd say it's a compliment. besides, the whole song is about how pink hate herself!

Did u guyz watch the Making of the Video for Pink? She clearly states that she's not dissing her or making fun of her. All Pink is saying is that she's not the pretty girly-girl image that Britney portrays...that's all. Pink is just doing her own thing and wants to be her and not be like anyone else.

if she said

"tired of being compared to Britney Spears
She's so pretty, that's just ain't me"
without the damn bit which there is no need for then there would be np, End of the day Pink is just a silly cow who couldnt be anywhere near like Brit even if she tried! not just with regards to talent! but it also looks to me like she has been beat with an ugly stick lol

Why does every stupid thing someone say to somebody has to be an insult all the time?. What tha' hell if she says that on a song, and i think she's being very clear by the way. She just says to people: don't compare her to Brit!. Does that say something???. MAN it's like when i reply something to someone on this forum they think i'm messing up with them. Stop being that defensive people!.

Why is everything always about looks? You have to be Britney Spears pretty to impress someone? personally I think that that song Pink did is one of the best ones out right now and i actually like it better than any of brit's b/c its about something everyone can relate to- having a day when you just hate yourself. everyone is always saying i should be a model or actress and that i am so pretty but it just gets to the point sometimes when you feel really ugly and you dont want to look in the mirror. In the end of the day its about who you are. Not what you look like. I love Pink b/c she is not made up, writes her lyrics, and doesnt appear to have the strings pulledonher career. Not saying that Brit does b/c she does have control on herself. If she isnt as pretty as britney thats no reason to dislike her. Of course people sometimes listen to music just for the person's apperance which is sooo stupid in my opinion. But hey , like who you want.
