Which I guess you missed where I said "someone tell me why theyre so awesome?" I wanna know whats so good about them and why suddenly theyre the next 'Fall Out Boy' (not comparing them musically, but as far as being the 'it' band for right this second. Also note I said the music I've heard so far - leaving open room for suggestions of songs that maybe are better than the few I've heard to judge on. But, so far nobody has offered that and are all in defense mode. Whatever. Read the entire post before jumping on me for no possible reason. I was expressing what I thought and wondered why everything just thinks theyre so great. My god. Get out of defense mode and actually recommend. People have said Mariah's music sucks, and I have offered songs that may make them think differently. Use the criticizing wisely.

Its not that its just HORRIBLE music, I just don't get what separates them from all of the others. There isn't a distinctive thing that I can detect. I mean, I wouldn't turn the radio if their song came on, its just I don't understand why theyre just now suddenly the it thing.

Well I dnt listen to radio much but i just find it catchy fun music with good lyrics...

One thing that really sticks out about them, for me at least, is just their lyrics. It took me a while to get used to their style but now I like it. As I said before, they remind me of Motion City Soundtrack, they also have this weird thing they do with the lyrics. It's not that the lyrics are off beat with the music, just the way they word stuff and how they group words together, it's weird. Interesting, but weird. That's what threw me off of them at first but as time went on, I got used to it and I love 'em.

And Allie - maybe that's the thing that makes me not like their music. That and having to see them in the video in those goofy looking clothes turns me off of them, too.
