News of the World reports that the real reason Britney pulled out of the MTV Awards and her European promotional tour for her new album 'In The Zone' was that she was humiliatingly ditched by dancer Columbus Short, who went back to his pregnant wife Brandi in California. "She's having a tough time," a source close to Spears revealed. "She's been drinking heavily, which hasn't helped things." Meanwhile, back home in Louisiana, waitress Monica Hales accused Spears of being "really rude" to young autograph seekers when she loaded up on fast food with sister Jamie Lynn. "She wasn't doing anything special but she told them she didn't have time and walked away," Hales said. "I thought that was real mean considering they were kids who probably bought her music. Something was really eating her." Her dad Jamie insisted his daughter had just taken a much-needed break from her punishing schedule. He told : "She wasn't well but she spent some time with her mother and me. She's feeling better now and she's gone back to New York."

yea I saw that earlier, that sounds so freakin stupid, ya know if Columbus was REALLY that great that he chose his wife before BRITNEY FUCKING SPEARS, then he wouldn't have cheated on his wife at all...so it just doesn't make sense..

also...Britney ALWAYS have time to sign autograph..

I read this earlier. If this entire thing with her dancer is true, then she got exactly what she deserved. But no one knows if it's true or not. Most of these dancer stories have come from tabloids who like to make stuff up. Eventhough this one names people. Usually it's just "a pal" or "a close source", which this one uses but it also gives out the girls name. Britney is going to deny it weither it's true or not, thats obvious. It would hurt her image badly if people found out it was true that she messed with a married man. I also know from past threads, that a lot of people here will defend no matter what. I'm so sick of defending Britney Spears, I don't know her, and she very well could of had an affair with a married man.

I just dont know...

And I know that shes the waitress, but still, how often do they ever give the full name of anyone? Besides, I have no idea if 'News of the World' is a tabloid. Probably is, I dont consider Britneys love life important world news.

That aside, this could be true and it coudt not be true. And we'll probably never know for sure either.
