It's happened before where artists release two singles before an album comes out. So this may be released now, and then we'll get one more just a week or two before the album comes out. Either that, or this single isn't actually being released now, and we'll be waiting for a little while longer for the single to be released. OR, option three, the album is being released in a matter of weeks.

One example I can think of the first possibility is Spice Girls released "Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There" before their first album came out. Actually, I think they had three singles out before their third album came out, too. Hmm.

This has been bringing up theories in my head since the moment I found out about this. But what I think is all the "unreleased" tracks on Greatest Hits: My Prerogative were all recorded for In The Zone, and those pictures of Britney going in to record My Prerogative were really Britney going in to record songs for the new album. I mean, think about it: In The Zone is the only album Britney has released without a cover song, so maybe MP was really slated for In The Zone. We all know that IJB was slotted for ITZ as well. And if Britney has a new sound with the new album, like it appears she does, then I don't think Do Somethin' was recorded all that recently, it sounds too much like In The Zone material. But, it's hard to say. That's just one possibility.

I wasn't expecting this at all! I'm kind of in the back of my head hoping it's not true but then I am. I'm still shocked at the album title, "Your Original Doll", I LOVE THAT! It's just so freakin' good! As for the song, I'm not feelin' it right now, I love the lyrics, if she wrote it, I would be so proud of her. I love how it's completely different from what she's done. This is something I've always wanted her to do. I love the rumoured video concept and everything, it's all so brilliant. I'm not that much into the song though. I know it'll grow on me, but I just have to listen to it one more time, I've only listened to it once. I don't like how she's singing, it's like she's just kind of talking and being laid back (?) I'm going to listen to it again and then get ready for work.

btw, I downloaded the song at www.breatheheavy.com and they said it was HQ and it does sound like high quality, you might wanna check that Mandy.

This has gotta be WITHOUT A DOUBT the best Britney song i have ever heard!!!!!!! I was actually ready for her to retire, thought she had done all she could do, and that she should go out on top. NOT anymore!!! WOW, that's just all I can say to describe this song. I read that article in BSM about her voice, and wow do I really believe it now!! Holy crap...she's never gone off in a song like that before, you know in the middle, just hitting those 3 high notes. She's never even sounded like this before. I LOVE IT!!!!! Also: Your Original Doll is such an awesome album title, how very true. I'm so excited! I can't wait. I wanna see the mediabase update so I can see how it's doing. Is it spinning in a lot of places??

WOW at everybody's comments! It's not exactly MY favorite song but I hope it does well!

I like the song... I think. I hate the nasal chorus (REALLY bad) but the rest is ok. I LOVE the cry/goodbye/fly verse and the "God" part What a shame now everyone is saying "oh the high notes are computerized"... I hate it. It doesn't sound to me like she can't actually do it. I talked to a person that is always so confident she can sing and always on her side and when he heard those 3 high notes, he was like "wtf? she sounds like a retard!". LMAO that sucked :x I wasn't expecting this shit. I love it.

The song isn't that good (it's the chorus! well the vocals) but at least it shows that she still has a voice UNLESS... Original Doll is just gonna be full of bsides or crap. I'm excited for the album! But one thing I don't like is how she's rushing the album AT ALL! She needs to work on it really hard and come back in like... a year. Because well musically, Mona Lisa is not exactly a Toxic.

I love how she calls the album Original Doll though. Now when we're gonna talk about it, we'll say "OD" lmfao.
