Pop diva schmoozes with fans while at Fashion Square

Britney Spears did it again.
And again and again.
The perky pop star, who this week disclosed to the world that she's not so innocent after all, created a stir in Scottsdale Fashion Square last weekend. Employees at several stores said she shopped and shopped - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Britney and her TV star sister Jamie Lynn breezed in and out of several cosmetic and clothing stores, usually a step or two ahead of a crowd of young autograph seekers waiting outside storefronts.
In a column on Britney's official web site, the star's mother Lynne wrote, "Britney has been doing lots of shopping for clothes for her album cover and various photo shoots she has in the next few months."
Britney was pleasant with everyone she encountered, said mall concierge Peter Harden.
"I thought she'd be uppity, but she wasn't, which is unusual for people like that with money," he said.
Her Saturday evening shopping spree stood out in most people's minds. Dressed in denim shorts, a tank top over a bikini top, wearing flip-flops and hat, she dashed into nearly every store on the south side of the north wing between Robinsons-May and the food court.
Sephora cosmetics manager Jenny Gron said she recognized Spears nearly immediately. "I know her. I follow pop culture, "she said.
Spears whiffed a few bottles of perfumes and dabbled with make-up for a while before customers realized who she was.
"A couple of girls who were in here gasped and dropped their items," Gron said.
Spears signed a few autographs and left the store without buying anything. She also dropped into Abercrombie & Fitch, where she purchased two tank tops and a skirt; Louis Vuitton, where she looked at handbags; Victoria's Secret, where her activities shall remain secret said a store manager; and BCBG Maxazria, where she looked at jewelry and bought a bottle of perfume and gold aviator sunglasses.
"She's really nice. She's very, very friendly and very polite," said BCBG manager Annie Cushman.
Tom Gavrilos, a salesman at Bang & Olufsen audio/video store, said he spent about seven minutes with the star.
He said he spotted her outside his store and asked if she would pose in a photo with him. Spears declined, saying snapping a picture would draw a crowd.
When a crowd began to gather anyway, she grabbed him by the arm and asked to pretend he was her body guard, said Gavrilos, who is 6 foot and 195 pounds. He escorted Spears and her sister through a department store and joked and chatted with them the whole way.
He also asked for an autograph, which she gave, and asked a second time to pose for a photo, which she declined, he said.
He walked her to the mall parking lot and then asked her, baby, one more time for a photo. He discovered she's not that innocent when she responded using a vulgar term and turned to walk away, he said. So he snapped her photo anyway and told her she wasn't as pretty as she seemed on television, he said.
