This is really weird. I've never heard this song once on the radio and I've only seen the video on TV a couple of times but yet everytime I sing it, people ALWAYS know the words to this song! I was singing it at work and alot of the people knew about the song. I was singing part of it at my cousins house and he even knew the words to the song and he couldn't give less of a shit about Britney. Even my older brother likes this song and he usually hates her material. It's weird, so many people know about this song. It's like an "undercover hit".

Is it like that with you? This song really has so much potential.

And yeah, Adeel, it is that way for me...I worked in a bagel shoppe with girls much younger than me and those are the ones that already have a pretty solid opinion of Britney because of the older crowd saying she's "plastic" and "fake" and crap like that...so they come in and they're mopping and then...they start singing "Do Somethin'" and then like an hour later, I start singing it and suddenly, I'm cool.

It's a hit. I even love the remixes. And usually, mostly the majority, I hate the remixes. Funny, eh...no. Coincidence? I think no as well.

To be honest, I dont really know the words to this song. Its not catchy enough for me or something, When it comes on, I tend to skip it.

Most of my friends don't care for Britney, well yeah I am the only one really.

They know the words, but hate the song. They think the video is a parodi of all the popstars out there, like the way she sings and dances. So, well.
