Just wanna ask you guys if Britney won any award in MITV movie AWards. Well, did she? Hope she did. Coz i heard that MAndy won a "female breakthrough award." well, i think MAndy deserves it anyway. I hope Britney has an award too.

Mandy defeated her because Mandy broke completely away from her singer-side and went straight on with acting. Britney on the other hand, had "Britney Spears" all over the movie posters and covers, and did songs in the movie itself which just foreshadows her singing career. They attempted to use Britney to draw movie sales, and it worked.. but pretty much killed any chance of an award. This is why Mandy won. I'm not saying that in a hateful way, but this is the conclusion I came to.

Ugh, yeah, I basically agree with Kostaki...in a way. I think Crossroads could have been better if Brit didn't sing as much. It would have shown she can actually act...NOT that I minded the singing. You know? I think, as I said before, a more action or drama type movie would be better than a chick flick. But I really did love Crossroads. I think another reason Mandy won was...duh, it was an MTV award. Mandy works for MTV. Of course they're gonna let her win. Sorry to any Mandy fans, but she bugs the hell out of me. Her speech...I was cracking up. She was like, "Wow! I can't believe I won! I didn't expect this at all!" then rattles off this huge speech you KNEW she prepared beforehand. I just found it amusing But wait, there were two other things Brit was nominated for...who won those?
