my opinion,

i love mariah, but ever since Rainbow, I think she is lost in her state of mind,

I think she needs to grow up, I thought she was going to, but with "Boy", she looks like she should be 12 years old, the video is so tacky and cheesy,

I think she thinks just because she has so many #1 singles (with the help of commercial releases) and albums sold that she is the best singer in the world, when truth be todl, her voice isnt that impressive anymore, especially since she sounds so airy when she is singing now

another thing is that she does so many samples and covers now that it gets annoying, however, BRINGIN ON THE HEARTBREAK is one of my most favorite Mariah songs ever, so I'm glad she did this song,

but look @ Rainbow - Heartbreaker/How Much/Heartbreaker Remix/Against All Odds/Crybaby - all had samples/cover in it

Charmbracelet - Boy/You Got Me/You Had your Chance/B.O.T.H./Irresistible/Miss You - " "

it just gets a little annoying because you wonder if she can actually write her own songs anymore w/o samples

another thing is that she overdoes her biracial thing, I mean, I feel for her, but she sings abouti t and clings on to it WAY tooo much

another thing is that she has always had this little attitude about her, she is SO stuck-up and divaish, that it sometimes makes me want to punch her

as I have said I love Mariah's music, and ALWAYS WILL, but I really dont give a "shzamy" about her as a person

That's true. But if nobody buys her album that would show just how much people actually care or still likes her. Sure you might not care, but in the end, album sales are the only think left that determines success, I think lol. But I don't really care. CB is doing great!!!

I can just say one thing... I LOVE Mariah...She has one of the best voices EVER, and I don't see anything wrong with her attitude, she seems down to earth...
and how can you not love her after hearing her version of "Bringin' on the heartbreak" ? It's the best track off of Charmbracelet, IMO...<3333 !!

if i recall correctly it wasnt a "poor little ca fan" that brought her into this thread. sure he mentioned her in the 1st post but he also used other artist. the point where she was brought in again was when someone mentioned her album. and if u havent noticed they stopped talking about her a while back the only thing i see "pathetic" here is people who keep talking about someone they dont like. but we are all entitled to our own opinions...

i am not the biggest mariah fan at the moment, but i have listened to Charmbracelet, and i can say that i was pleasantly surprised. Some really nice tracks, and whatever happens next for her, i thing is certain, she is a LEGEND.
