i DO think that she should be more respectful of other people's beliefs. If she's trying to make a statement, it's a rather dumb statement. But whatever...

Is anyone really surprised? I mean, both hr and Britney's careers are based on publicity stunts. That's the only way people will even second look them. Yeah, at one point they had talent, but they use other things to overshadow their talent and make their millions barely having to use what talent they supposedly had to get a record deal or whatever. Yeah, not a bit surprised. I see both sides and it's basically to each their own. It's her show, she's gonna do what she's gonna do. She's been doing this type of stuff for years, and now suddenly it's a big deal? By those "religious leaders" speaking out, if it is a publicity stunt like they claim it, then they just promoted it more and made her MORE money. Think before you speak, people. Good lord.

i don't feel offended either. however, for the religous fanaticals, it would be a slap in the face to them, i would think. I dunno. I couldn't really care less one way or another. I still like some of her songs. Arists won't always do things you agree with. E.G. If you listen to Dixie Chicks publicly here, you will probably DIE. hahaha. But I still like them and like their new cd ALOT. People are entitled to their beliefs. I just think they should take more TACTICAL approaches to their ideas...

Why???... i mean, other people have done it as a mock (Kanye, for example), she is doing it so people notice what is on the screens during the song, the kids from Africa, AIDS and all that.

But i guess people can only "respect" Catholic religions and it's ok if catholics make fun of other's people religions... .how many jokes are out there about Kabalah and Scientology?? and those are not "respecful" statements.
