Largest Recent Albums Grossing - Eternal Allegiance

What album(s) has had the largest grossing recently? Are people still breaking 1 Mil? Remember the Bubblegum days where people were selling 10Xmillion and 1 mil the first week? Just curious; no need for intense research or anything, just if anybody knew how much the big sellers are selling.

I'm not sure about recently, but I know that some albums coming up are going to be very high grossers (Christina, Justin, Beyonce). Perhaps you can find some numbers at Billboard.com?

Nelly Furtado's Loose sold 220,000 copies to get to number 1

the current no.1 album in USA sold 165,000 copies.

Pharrells album sold 142,000 copies

It's alot different to 1999.

Actually, a couple weeks ago the #1 album sold only 92,000. It's a bit pathetic. I guess it was a bad week for music. But when Usher has an opening week of over 1 million, and Britney sells well over 600,000, I get a bit confused. I know internet has affected sales, but how do these artists manage to stay on top of their game? So strange!
