actually, my saying beyonce has the face of a beast has been said as an opinion and am adding it, but that doesn't mean that i've gone off topic as the opinion is ABOUT miss snotty nose

shes not popular, I hardly ever hear her name, this is one of the first times other then one or two singles I've heard about her, and i didn't like her in destinys child either. but she is not right to use animals, nor is Michael Jackson or missy elliot right, but on neither of those occasions was it known that they had to contain an animal in such a way to make it pee itself out of discomfort. If it was ever mentioned i would have also said my piece as i dont think its right to take photos of animals full stop. i dont have any pictures of my dogs cats or fish as if i did on the fish tank it could stress them with a flash, the kittens are crazy and yes i have one picture but i never took that of my kittens. and my dogs have poor sights so i would never use flash photography for that purpose.

she is wrong, people have pointed this out and she should learn from her mistakes and actually do something about it. i bet she's sat there going 'aahh i don't care, say what they want i'll make money and sit on my throne alllllll day long'

This entire thread attacks Beyonce, so Im not allowed to defend her? People have their noses out of joint because of tape on an alligator, excuse me for defending a human. I respect and admire Beyonce, and I dont think she deserves the criticism she's getting for something that happens every single day.

You may think she's wrong, that doesnt mean that she is wrong. I personally dont care that she used an animal in a shoot. So many people do it thats its common practice. Would I prefer that animals be left alone? Sure. But to insult someone on the basis of talent and/or appearance because she used an animal in a shoot has absolutely nothing to do with the animals.

People seem to have more of an issue with Beyonce and not the action itself. For example, the guy from Fall Out Boy brought a monkey wearing a diaper to the VMAs. Where was Peta then? I've yet to read a comment about the mistreatment of that monkey.

If they are going to make a big deal about it, then make a big deal about it across the board. Its beyond me why Beyonce is being singled out. I guess Peta are more interested in fame than the animals too.

I think its commendable what they do for the welfare of animals, Today I saw Beyonce on the front of her album, I saw the cover and was put off.. I am sure I wont be the only one.

i wasnt insulting beyonce BECAUSE of the alligator thing, i insulted her as you put it because it is my opinion of the person waaaaaaaaaay before this incident.

she isnt that popular, seriously. she has money, people know her name and would recognise her in the streat....big brother contestants have the SAME recognition.

You're just giving more examples of celebrities who have had contact with them in entertainment and whatnot, no i dont agree with it but those animals didnt get quite so discomforted as to pee themselves or for that particular celebrity to brag about it being their bright idea now did they??

also as to your comment about this whole thread attacking beyonce, its not, its attacking her behaviour and her treatment of a wild animal. if she wants to be defended she can get off her butt and apologise and admit she knows it was wrong. thats the right kind of defence because what she did is animal cruelty. if you hit a child or you tape a childs hands up or something and they peed themselves that is child abuse, so what she did was animal abuse in every major sense of the cause.

there are probably THOUSANDS of people around the world after hearing about this going crazy over her actions and because miss almighty thinks its okay then it obviously is? i dont think so

and im with foreverinlovewithjus with this as well, there will be a fair few people being put off by this cover,im sure of it

No I havent visited their site lately. Just like you've been put off by Beyonce's actions, Ive been put off by Peta's blatant use of celebrity attacks to get their "cause" out there. I have zero respect for them as an association. My organization of choice for animals is the RSPCA (unsure if they have an American branch though).

She's a multi-platinum selling artist, a multi-award winner, endorsements queen, red carpet icon and actress. If Beyonce isnt popular, Id like to know who is.

This is my whole issue - I respect that many of you have strong feelings about animal welfare but a lot of the comments sound fake because the actions of one celebrity are somehow more okay than that of another.

As Ive said already, commenting on her appearance and on her talent have nothing to do with her behaviour in association with the topic of this thread.

Except that she likely doesnt think she did anything wrong lol! A child isnt going to bite your leg off, why in the world would you risk your own well being to make an alligator feel comfortable. If you feel animals and humans are equals that's fine and thats your opinion. I dont feel that way and clearly neither does Beyonce.

miss almighty was quite a sarcastic comment as i think she is anything but.

Also if she thinks that an animal could risk herself, why would she want to do a photoshoot with one?!

the RSPCA are a very good charity and i appreciate their work too but isnt it quite a different charity to PETA? i dont know anything about PETA but ive got a strange feeling it is different.

as i actually posted before i dont condone the behaviour of ANY animal being used for entertainment, domestic or otherwise so don't try saying my statements sound fake. No celebrity should use an animal for publicity its beyonce bragging that it peed on her because it was so discomforted that has got up 90% of the posters noses in this thread so far as i can see.

if PETA contact beyonce saying that it was wrong she could at least ACKNOWLEDGE that fact and if nothng else apologise to THAT particular foundation.

Peta and the RSPCA are totally different, both deserve their own respect in different ways. Its not easy dealing with animal cruelty but I think Peta show stronger images, I remember seeing one case with monkeys that was on their homepage. So sad

So what it peed on her, could she not change her outfit.. course not. whats the easiest thing to do, tape an animals mouth shut.

Honestly, all these animal activists really piss me off. I'm sorry, but I say you should stand up for your own kind first, and these people should take a look at the amount of abused and neglected PEOPLE in this country before they go worry about an alligator getting their mouth taped shut for a few minutes.
