Allright everyone, here comes something that you were not expecting !! Ryan Leslie, the writer and co-producer of 'The Answer' and also an upcoming recording artist at Universal, wrote me an E-mail last night wondering when Britney's new album would hit the UK. He sent me the lyrics to 'The Answer' as well as a 59 second preview of the song, exclusively for fans at World of Britney.com !. I think it's an honor that we are known by Britney's songwriters and producers and that they are giving us this opportunity to preview a track on WoB before you hear it anywhere else !! Ryan also sent me a picture of him together with Britney and P.Diddy and I promised him I would let you all know about his official site, located at RyanLeslie.com.
This 59 second clip will be furnished on WoB through the Fair Use Copyright Act. Our critical review of the clip:
Leslie and Combs have put together a track like no other for Britney Spears. 'The Answer' features electronica/funk beats combined with the celestial 'P.Diddy' trademark, where he takes the listener to a hightened state with his productions. 'The Answer' is about a girl waiting for a guy, which in turn is her answer to what she's been looking for. 'I've been waiting for you, so patiently, I know you're here, you're my answer, thank you' is sung by Britney in the beginning of the song. This track will unfortunately not be released in the US version of the album, or at least, that's what we know for now. A UK tracklisting reveals that the song will be included as a bonus track in the European market.
