So anyway, I realize that no one is going to reply to this thread or whatever, but I'm still making it just in case.
Yesterday, Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) released her second solo CD (first in the US), "Free Me." I got the CD and um...I love it. You will too as soon as you hear it! (I can only hope).
Anyway, the CD is getting good reviews:
From
Billboard -
Pop-starved fans are about to get a heaping helping of cheesecake topped with a cherry. Emma Bunton, arguably the most talented of the Spice Girls, crosses the seas with her second international solo album—her first released in the United States. Key tracks: the title cut, "Maybe," "I'll Be There," "Tomorrow" and . . . ah, hell, all the rest.
From
Rolling Stone -
Free Me is easy-listening fluff so lusciously lush and lovingly retro that it's nearly radical. Rather than dumbing down tired Courtney Love licks, leggy Emma blows big kisses to Burt Bacharach, Brazil and swinging- Sixties British birds such as Petula Clark via massive orchestrations, bossa nova beats and substantial tunes. 3 Stars
I uploaded a few of my favorites for you all to hear so
