Cowell: 'Madonna Used to Be Good-Looking'

LOS ANGELES - Not content to crush the spirit of unknowns, "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell is training his sights on one of the biggest stars in the business — Madonna (news - web sites).
Cowell, promoting Monday's start of the third "American Idol" season, recently was drawn into a discussion with the Television Critics Association about the physical attributes of today's stars.
"Britney (Spears) is cute, isn't she?" Cowell said. "Beyonce is good-looking. Jennifer Lopez (news) is good-looking. Madonna used to be good-looking."
His fellow judges, Paula Abdul (news) and Randy Jackson, groaned.
"She's a housewife!" Cowell said. |

Madonna IS kinda preety. I mean... she has a beauty. Doesn't mean she's beautiful, I mean that she looks like herself alot. Britney is more beautiful IMO but she looks different than she really is sometimes. Because of makeup or whatever.
That guy also said that Britney is not sexy. He said that it's like seeing your little sister putting on makeup for the first time or something  | |

I think Madonna is pretty, she looks well for her age, Who is Simon Cowell to talk anyway. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder in my opinion. | |

Yeah, let Britney go without make-up and she looks like a trainwreck. I don't think she's cute. Her body is fine, but the rest of her is...blah. Madonna was hot when she had brown hair in Like A Prayer. She was cute back in the day. She's still pretty nowadays too. She's kept good care of herself. | |
