Rumor* has it that Britney Spears will perform at the MTV VMAs once again! The VMAs 2002 will air live on August 29th, two weeks earlier than usual, and it has been said that she'll perform "Boys." Proceeding the VMAs (if she performs) Britney will take a 6-month break until at least March

Cool, I am hoping that she'll will preform especially if it's the remix, and have Pharell preform with her. that would be really cool cuz last years preformance was kinda plain. I am hoping that they will also have a tribute to Aaliyah since it's been a year since her death. which is still seem's like a bad dream. RIP Babygirl.

I hope that she will perform this year because "Boys" is a super-hot song and i thing that will be a great show.

But if she wont perform this year maybe she wins!!!
because she has been nominated on the past three years and performed on those shows and she didnt won.

I think that sounds pretty true. I remember hearing the VMAs were earlier this year cause of September 11th and everything...I'd love to see her perform "Boys" with Pharrell! *Hopes*

I want to see her preform What It's Like 2 Be Me!!! That would be a great way to go out and even more so if she does not release it as a single (because then maybe people may get the CD!)

I hope she's gonna perform. Doesn't really matter what she does, but just to see her for the 4th year in a row will be nice! And ofcorse winning something would be good too.. but ya never know with these stupid VMA people.

If I heard correctly, this year t6he fans are picking the nominees. Certain people got e-mail's from MTV.com. I hope I get chosen. I would be fair and give artists I don't like a fair shot to win awards.

Well, I also think she will. I never doubt she wasn´t gonna perform. She has been there every year and she still is one of the biggest acts with the show.
So, I think she will be there again and it´s gonna be cool, even if she didn´t perform.
