Now that Britney Spears's Dream Within A Dream summer tour has come to a close, a new tour featuring the pop superstar's music has launched. Spears's Samsung Superstar Karaoke tour minus the singer, who is currently on a six-month hiatus, will hit Best Buy store locations in 24 cities across the nation before wrapping up on August 30.
The tour allows future pop stars to sing along to karaoke versions of their favorite Spears songs in front of a live audience. Spears told us of the tour: "All the kids from the audience, they come up on the stage and it's their moment to shine and to sing karaoke. I used to love singing karaoke when I was little, so it's very sweet to watch that. I love it. It's very cool."

A national grand-prize winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip for two to Los Angeles to create a demo tape with the Spears's record producers. In addition, the national grand-prize winner will appear as an extra in Spears's upcoming video. Winners from each appearance will have their performances reviewed by Spears's management company, which will choose the ultimate winner.

Contest participants and passers-by each receive a $20 coupon that is good towards the purchase of any Samsung wireless handset, and will be eligible to win Spears memorabilia such as T-shirts and autographed pictures.

At each event, Spears's wrapped tour bus from her Dream Within A Dream summer tour will be parked next to the karaoke stage. Tours of the interior of the bus, which was previously owned by both *NSYNC and Kid Rock, will also be available.

Meanwhile, as Spears's Samsung Superstar Karaoke tour rolls on, the singer will spend her downtime recording songs for her next album, and relaxing with her friends at her Florida condominium:"For the next few months I'm probably gonna record when I want to record. I've got a place in Destin. I'm probably gonna go out there and just lay out with all of my girlfriends and just have fun."
