Britney should change her kind of movies? - Eternal Allegiance

I really don´t like too much the idea that Britney´s next movie will be a NASCAR drama, I think Britney should try a new genre in movies, for example comedy, she´s really funny in crossroads, she could be something like Cameron Diaz, I think drama movies are more ok for Mandy Moore... Britney should try something else... What do u think?

Geesh, she's only had one, lol. And I'm sure she won't make every movie a chick-flick type. I'd love a drama...A real drama. But action would be really cool too. Either

Action, comedy or a drama, I would like all 3 of them. I don´t have a fav. But I do think she should take different roles, not everytime the same, that would be nice.
As long as Britney is in, it´s fine with me

Yeah, I know she only had done 1, but what I´m telling is that she has to do different things, I think the NASCAR movie is just a comercial thing, Britney should take acting more serious, and try to have a big career in movies, like for example J-lo, I think J-lo is really intelligent when she choose what movie script she will perform, because she had done everything, comedy, drama, action, suspence and more, Britney has to make something that everybody would like, or you don´t want Britney to be critisized in a good way?

Yeah, JLO has done everything. But she also started with acting and then came her singing career. So everybody knew her from her movies.
Britney is famour because of her singing. If a singer goes acting everyone (especially those media people) is like: "Another one who wants to act".

And ofcourse we want her to be critisized in a good way, but the opinion of the critics doesn´t always matter. Look for example to Crossroads. Critics were bad, but the movie was a hit.

I dunno...The plot of the NASCAR film isn't really developed (or at least hasn't been on sites or anything) so I can't say I know it's a hardcore drama. I always thought of Crossroads as a chick-flick, mainly. It did have drama and comedy mixed though. I really don't care what she does. She's got talent and as long as she does a movie that shows that, I'm cool.

Yeah, and that´s what we don´t want to happen, people saying "Another one who wants to act". So I think Brit should make people see that she knows how to act.

Maybe is just a feeling, but everytime I see crossroads, I think about Britney doing a comedy, she has the talent to be a comedy actress and she has to use it to impress all the media. Crossroads was a hit, yeah that´s true, but when you hear or read the opinion of nonbritney fan people, you realize that not everybody who saw it liked it; and the movie was a hit, mostly because Britney Spears was staring it, and everybody was like "I wanna see this girl acting" and thats all. I LOVED CROSSROADS, I liked it better than A walk to remember or other movies, but I think this is because I´m a HUGE Britney fan. So think about this, if another girl, "newbie" had the main role of crossroads do u think it would have the success it has with Britney interpreting Lucy?

It was hard writing for you, well I also was reading for 5 minutes, lol. That´s okay though, I like long stories.

You are right that Crossroads was a big hit, mainly because almost all the Britney fans went to the movie. But I also know a lot of people who aren´t Britney fans, but still were interested to see her acting. That´s nice for the 1st time, but ofcourse not for the 2nd movie. Because then it´s really about Britney´s acting, which I think are pretty good.

If another girl had Britney part a Lucy, well it depends if that girl was famous or not. If she was unknown in the world, I won´t know if Crossroads was also a big hit. And I guess we won´t know that.

Britney would be indeed good for a comedy role, but maybe (we haven´t seen it) she is also really good for a movie with action. Britney has had just her first movie. Before we can say and judge more, I think we should wait a couple of years.

The future will tell how Britney´s movie career is gonna be!!
