| Britney Isn't a Good Interviewee | | Pop beauty BRITNEY SPEARS is "not very intelligent" according to a British TV presenter, who dubbed her one of his worst ever interviewees.
EAMONN HOLMES, host of the ITV network's morning show GMTV, found Britney arrogant and vacant when she appeared on the programme.
He says, "She was really quite up herself and couldn't be bothered. Sorry, but she's the sort of person who does an interview looking over your shoulder at the people advising her. I think her trouble is that she's not very intelligent."
He continues, "She doesn't know what's the right thing to say. You'll say to her, 'So tell me about the new record.' And she'll say, 'It's cool, it's fine, it's hanging out.' She gives the same answer to everything."

| LMFAO. She actually does that. I won't say that she's unintelligent but it certainly makes her seem that way. Like when they were showing outtakes from that Diane Sawyer interview, she kept looking over at Fe for answers to the questions. It was funny. |

| She got burned in the past for being herself too much, I think the fact that in her position they want her image to come before everything is not something she's very comfortable with. |

| I dont think that looking over at her "people" makes her unintelligent.. in fact, I think thats actually pretty intelligent of her. Saying the wrong thing could be brutal for her carrer. Shes making sure that she's not just saying the first stupid thing that pops into her head. |

She said something about her virginity and like 5 years later people are STILL asking about it.
I hope now that she is more in control of her career, and taking a break from being bossed around that she'll be able to show more of herself in interviews |

I think being selective in who's taking her interviews might help. Going to Leno or Conan and put a bunch of humour into things perhaps? Everybody knows that with those guys things aren't too serious most of the time. They even play along with wrestling gimmicks, I don't think it gets any more fun than that! lol |

Sure, they'll ask a thing or two, but mostly they keep more to the reason they are there. They talk about whatever the guest is there to promote.
P.S. - Ellen is also good for not getting personal. She isn't there to make fun of her guests. She's never made fun of anybody on that show that I can recall. |

| I dont think she'll ever go back on Conan after what happened the first time she did in the Oops era. There was some other guy there and he was making fun of everything Britney would say, and then on MTV news 1515, she was like "that show was weird" or something like that. |
