The following day, the blonde multi-millionairess - spotted for the first time since her sham 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to Jason Alexander - visited the Parkside Medical Centre in Santa Monica, California, for an 8.30am appointment. Again the star was accompanied by Lynne, who is reportedly worried about her eldest daughter since her bizarre marriage and annulment to childhood pal Alexander. A Parkside source says, "Britney's appearance here was the talk of the center. She looked very downcast and subdued."

I really think things are - once again - being blown out of porportion. If something's wrong with her, I know she will be fine. However, I doubt anything IS actually wrong with her and it's yet another case where the media has taken something out of context.

Of course Britney looked downcast and subdued, nobody enjoys going to the doctor(especially in the a.m.).
I doubt it is anything dire or controversial since many doctors have offices inside a hospital. It was probably just a routine checkup before her tour. Britney probably had to go to the hospital for tests to make sure her heart didn't have any problems that could cause her to die (like how young athletes die of undiagnosed heart murmurs/defects). The media spin suggests that she got an abortion ,but i don't think she did. If she wanted an abortion she could have snuck into a clinic during off hours and i doubt seriously that she would have done it in broad daylight like that. And you certainly wouldn't feel well enough to go shopping afterwards. LOL
