I don't agree with these 'laws' at all. Strip away at our civil liberties a little more why don't you? And eventually we'll be Nazi Germany and all these people who supported the laws can throw their hands in the air and claim that they didnt' know what it would lead to. Hurray!
Come on, its just a law, not Nazi Germany. I dont see why you are over dramatizing it. It was a stupid law, yes, but you dont need to compare something as small as that to Nazi Germany.

^^ Yeah I agree, I wouldnt take a law like that seriously, you cant compare that to what happened in Nazi times.

No what I'm talking about is these laws strip away at our civil liberties, much as Hitler did with Germany so many years ago. He started out doing small little laws that some agreed with , some didn't, and then went out of control and started his genocide campaign.

So yes I CAN compare this with Nazi Germany, because if people don't wake up and realize what is happening with all these laws, we may well go in the same direction. Think about it for once

Well, the difference with Germany and the US is the fact one had a dictator and the US has a checks and balance system.

Germany started out with much the same kind of democracy that we have now. However a man ended up taking total control. It may be difficult, but it has been done before, on the arms of ultra right wing people (as the Nazis were considered). Click this link and it will tell you exactly how it happened. I found it quite interesting. http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar...ler/index.html

^ So whatever you dont like you're going to compare it to Nazi Germany?

Well, I dont like a lot of things Liberals do, doesn't mean Im gonna compare you to some cruel violent dictator when you and what you believe is no where near it. Thats makes no sense

You're missing the entire point I am trying to make and I don't feel like dumbing it down any more than I already have, so whatever.

And for the record I wasn't talking about the president , I was talking about laws that chip away our civil liberties. Do you read my posts before you reply? Honestly, just wondering.
