I heard on the news that the US was making a deal with some Iranian smugglers to take Baghdad government control. If this is true, then I would have to say I'm ashamed of Bush and our country.

Do you think that is true? Give me your insight.

All I can say is that whatever happens is in Gods plan to get the One World Government started so they really aren't in charge anyways. God already has whatever is going to happen to get to that point all worked out so I am just going with the flow till then. He also is in charge for what happens after.

That's why I say that the US should either not deal with any middle east country or just nuke them all. There's just too much at stake and too much stuff hidden to be making deals and making peace with other countries. Sometimes I wish the US was a tiny country and continent that nobody pays attention to, because we shouldn't have to deal with all this shit.

You're an idiot Jerod, but of course you already know that.

I hope this isn't true, since that really would blow. Sometimes you have to look at the consequences of each course of action, and sometimes it gets so shitty that making deals with terrorists and dictators is the best route. Heh that must be one shitty state of affairs.

One reason why the US in particular encourages defending human rights but supports a dictatorship here and there is because there are so many factors influencing foreign policy that no one clear voice steers it (one clear voice is called a dictatorship

). That is a result of the factions in this country. So the result is sometimes contradictory, but at least it is balanced. Not too extreme in the human rights department (where you blind yourself to the best interests of your country), but also not too extreme in the support dictatorships department (where you blind yourself to the human rights violations). All in all it is a self-moderating mechanism, which isn't too shabby in my opinion.
