| ROFL, Jerod has successfully been pro- and anti-war in the same thread. Amazing.

| I wouldn't be surprised , but I highly doubt it. Bush is STUPID, but he's not dumb, there's a difference, believe me. He would never... and besides Irag & Iran are practically "Conjoined Twins" both with hidden agendas. It'd never happen |

| Re: US making a deal with terrorists? | | Quote: Originally posted by Jerod I heard on the news that the US was making a deal with some Iranian smugglers to take Baghdad government control. If this is true, then I would have to say I'm ashamed of Bush and our country.
Do you think that is true? Give me your insight. | LMAO where do you hear this stuff? Why would the U.S. gov't give power to somebody other than their own paid-for exile cronies? Besides, the U.S. wants to topple the Iranian gov't right now. I would think they would put these ppl to better use in Iran. Right now, the U.S. is talking to the Iranian gov't because they have some higher up Al-quada operatives in jail. Also, a Shiite cleric ended his exile by crossing back into Iraq with his alleged 10,000 man miltia. However, the gov't does not want him in Iraq nor do they want Iranians in charge of anything. Quote: Originally posted by Jerod Sorry but you can't trust any of those people in the Middle East. I mean we can't just go up to them and expect to give hugs and kisses and make peace, because lots of them would be bound to turn on us and stab us in the stomach. I'm not saying that we SHOULD just nuke them. I mean I'm for peace as well, but you know as well as I do that some terrorists, groups, cultures, countries, etc use that to their advantage. They lure you in,deceive you, and then they destroy you. Maybe i'm a little paranoid sometimes, but that doesn't mean that I want them all to die. It surely doesn't mean I'm an arrogant American either. I'm just trying to make sure that my life and family isn't in danger. They don't deserve it, and they were never a part of it. | Xenophobia at it's finest. You do realize that the same arguments could be made against Americans as well. You are right in saying that America needs a non-intervenist foreign policy. Quote: Originally posted by ~*Simon's GrrL*~ Bush is STUPID, but he's not dumb | Wrong. Bush is both. He is nothing more than a piss poor sockpuppet for Cheney and company. |

| I doubt that to be true. And we also shouldn't "nuke" the entire middle east, nor not have contact with them. Yes, I do agree, we need to focus a bit more on our country's problems before things get even worse. And I don't agree with All Bush does, as I've said before, but he's no idiot. |

Do you think that is true? Give me your insight. | The US (like any other country) works first to achieve her interests....and if those are found in Iran then so be it! | |

| Re: Re: Re: US making a deal with terrorists? | | Free trade, in my belief, would do lots to stop wars from occuring... the question is what disrupts free trade? One big one is human nature, but that can't be all there is to it.
