Yesterday they reported that the earthquake had moved side to side, if it had moved up and down the tsunami might of actually happened. Crazy shit.

hehe, i was part of that warning....haha... i was like what? tsunami? where? okay i wasn't in a direct line of fire... i live by the cascade mountains, but i still thought i was gonna see some action...nope none to speak of anywhere. why? because the shaking of this was was horizontal vesus up and down. up and down creates bigger water displacement and there for you have your tsunami..well that's how i understand it...i've been learning about them ever since the hugh ass tsunami that hit indonesia, thailand, and sri lanka and all the other affected areas. it's really a cool (not that i like them) phenomenon. but i woulda been okay with a little extra waveage up here.
