Hm... Ok I understand what you're saying, but let me ask you this, What does Micheal Shiavo have to lose if he just gave control to her family? He loses nothing, they lose nothing. Its a win-win situation.. why doesn't he do it? Do you think he'd care if there wasn't millions of dollars involved in this?

I'm not sure about the money situation as I've heard both sides: some people say he will get money and others say he won't. I've heard he said he won't get any money and that it's not about money. So until I know the hard fact, I'm not even going to bring the money into the picutre.

I think Michael just wants his wife to be at peace. And I think that's what her parents should want to. I see no sense in keeping someone alive just so they can lay in a hospital bed all day and have no clue whats going on just so you can feel better about yourself. I understand they don't want their daughter to die, no one wants that, but its more than just that. They should think about what her life is like for her. Sure, she may smile when family comes around, but how do we know for sure she knows who they are? It could just be that contact with another human being makes her happy. Send a stranger in the room, see what happens.

But shes not lying in a bed all day.. She can get up, move around, she interacts, she looks at you when you call her, she laughs when you tell her a joke.. I think she cant transfer what she thinks into words, and she cant eat with her mouth..

Where did you get these facts? I haven't heard of the fact that she can get up and move around.

As for the hearing thing, her motor senses still work. If a loud noise is made, she will turn to it. It's the higher functions that are turned to jelly now.

her nurses were on MSNBC, and Fox News 24/7 talking about it. They said she can get up and move around, but not for a very long time.

It has been all over. Infact, it's taking place in Florida I believe...lol. Ive seen it all over MSN the past week or so and on various news stations.

Well, they dont show everything she does on TV. Because they dont want to release too much footage.. But her nurses say she gets up. But not all of the time, and she needs help getting up.
